In an interview with French newspaper Le Monde, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that there is no reason for Moscow to suspect that Iran is secretly attempting to build nuclear weapons.
The Russian Prime Minister spoke on Saturday after the latest report on Iran by the IAEA was rejected by Tehran this week.
"I do not think the Iranians are seeking to develop a nuclear bomb," Putin said. "We have no reasons to think so."
Putin's comments go hand in hand with what many already know.
"Formally, from a legal standpoint, Iran has so far not violated anything," he said. "It even has the right to uranium enrichment."
