With 60 per cent of the precincts have sent in the count, Hillary Clinton has already won Kentucky currently at 64 per cent to 32 per cent.
Clinton has won another Midwestern primary, this time in the state of Kentucky. The standing is currently 64 per cent to 32 per cent.
It was projected earlier that Hillary would win Kentucky easily as most of her core groups were highly represented in the state. Hillary won white women with 73 per cent of the demographic; voters with no college education at 74 per cent of the demographic, 78 per cent of seniors, 65 per cent of church goers, and 66 per cent of low income voters.
Voters in Kentucky indicated that the economy was the number one issue with many families feeling the economic downturn. Voters also feel that she shares their values more than Obama, although they feel Obama is more honest. Honesty may not be enough with a large portion of the voters citing race as an issue when picking a candidate.
Even with the state of Kentucky behind her, she may not have enough votes to take the Democratic nod.
