Aliph releaseD a new version of Jawbone, which is smaller, lighter and sexier than its predecessor. Wired.com says it has the best sound and noise-canceling capabilities.
Aliph introduced Jawbone, a Bluetooth handset at the end of 2006 and it was hailed by many as the best noise-canceling headset in the world. It had a few minor problems, such as the bulky fit, which the latest model seemed to have fixed.

The video shows the highlights of the new Jawbone model and a review by Infosyncworld.com. I have also added the video of the previous version which talks about the advantages of the Jawbone headset.

It is almost half the weight as the previous version. Jawbone comes with a variety of ear pieces to fit everyone.

Both Wired.com and Infosyncworld.com say the call quality with Jawbone is still very good compared to other Bluetooth handsets.

The new Jawbone version is designed by Yves Behar, who also designed the previous one. The new version claims it has a better noise-canceling capacity but Wired.com didn’t notice any difference between it and the old one.

Mark McClusky, Wired.com wrote the following about this new Aliph Jawbone model:

Overall, though, this is truly an upgrade. Aliph has taken the best-performing headset on the market, and made it smaller and easier to wear. Which is pretty much all you can ask for. —
WIRED Great sound. Serious upgrade in wearability, even with fewer options. Doesn’t weight you down like the older model. Easiest syncing headset ever; starts up in pairing mode the first time you turn it on.Jawbone_two_js_10

TIRED Still relies on a proprietary power connector that isn’t the same as the first model, either. Design cues are a little bit Gucci for some wearers (especially Wired geeks). A quick spin through the manual a must to understand how to operate invisible buttons.

If you are an avid mobile user and talk outdoors frequently, then you should have a device like this. If interested you can purchase it here.

This does look something I'd buy, even though I can't see myself using it very often. But it might be ideal for hands-free interviews I do with subjects over the phone. A perfect gift for a citizen journalist, perhaps?

I think it will be very useful. I use a smartphone I have to click a few buttons to answer the call, with this it will come in handy to answer it quickly and also hear the call well. Aliph can send you guys one to test it :)
