Michael Moore To Make Sequel To 'Fahrenheit 9/11' Set For Spring Of 2009

Filmmaker Michael Moore seems to attempt to make another impact. His film “Fahrenheit 9/11” harshly attacked the administration of President George W. Bush. So far, this has been the only documentary at the box office that has reached the nine figures. During the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, Fahrenheit 9/11 had received the jury prize. The jury prize was the top honor of the festival.

For those that watched Fahrenheit 9/11 should know that it talked about the attacks on September 11, 2001. It also talked about Iraq and Afghanistan. One should expect that those on the left praised it while those on the right condemned it. In response, Ann Coulter released her own documentary called “Fahrenhype 9/11.” However, Coulter’s film was not as successful as Moore’s film.

Now, Moore plans a sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11. Last year, Moore released a documentary called “Sicko,” which criticizes the health care industry in the United States. In this sequel that Moore plans, he will follow up on the status of the United States since that tragic event in New York City and Washington DC.

According to Overture films, this sequel will not bash anyone. The executives said that this sequel will examine the position that the United States is now in regards to the international community.

Moore has made it known that he will plan a sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11.
