An Arkansas woman is pregnant with her 18th child, which is due on New Year’s Day. She plans to give birth to more children "as long as God is willing."
Michele Duggar, 41, and her husband Jim Bob Duggar are excited with this new discovery. They and their children live in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a 7,000-square-foot home.

Michele's pregnancy progress will be filmed for a TV series for Discovery Health. The TV series will show how the Duggar family cope with one another, how each child are assigned to do specific chores and then the boys will do the chores assigned to girls and vice versa.

The new baby is due in January on New Year’s Day. Michelle Duggar told Reuters:
We've had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us.

The Duggar’s’ oldest child, Josh, is 20 and the youngest, Jennifer, is nine months old. All of their children have their names start with the letter J and everyone of them are home schooled. The other Duggar children, in between Joshua and Jennifer, are Jana, 18; John-David, 18; Jill, 16; Jessa, 15; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 11; Joy-Anna, 10; Jeremiah, 9; Jedidiah, 9; Jason, 7; James, 6; Justin, 5; Jackson, 3; and Johannah, 2.

Michele and her husband Jim told Reuters that they will keep having children as long as God wills it.

Jim Bob Duggar said:
The success in a family is first off, a love for God, and secondly, treating each other like you want to be treated…Our goal is for each one of our children to be best friends, and everybody working together to serve each other makes that happen.

Duggar has been pregnant for more than 11 years of her life.

If the Duggar children decide to do the same like their mother, then they will have their own Duggar town in Arkansas.

Makes a pretty good case for enforced birth limits.

I think the child should have some bonding between mother and father at least for four or five years, I don't know how they can grow well with just sibling support.

In some religions they ban abortions, so it will be tough to enforce a universal law. Some don't even use condoms or birth control.

Ouch divi! :o) Although I have my own opinions of Arkansas (have some step relatives that we NEVER visit and NEVER speak of from there.....scarey folks, those deliverance people), this family might turn out to be quite good.

Lets hope they keep track of whose who is all I can say.

I'd like to see a world population growth graph for a range of birth rates. These folks would be off the chart. The world won't even support what we have adequately. I love children, hate abortion, but believe in family planning as a matter of social responsibility to our world. God told us to fill it, not overfill it. Carelessness and thoughtlessness doesn't please God. Nor does reading our own interests into His plan.
