As the suicide of the D.C. Madam, Deborah Jean Palfrey has made headlines; her suicide notes have been released. The letter was written to Palfrey’s sister.
52 year old Deborah Jean Palfrey was found guilty on several charges such as running a prostitution ring. This was one ring that catered to the political elite of Washington DC. While Palfrey was free on bond, her sentencing was scheduled for July 24. Days ago, there were news reports that Palfrey committed suicide at her mother’s home in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

The body was discovered by her 76 year old mother.

Recently, the death was ruled as a suicide by hanging. Now, the notes of the suicide have been released. In those suicide notes, Palfrey wrote how she did not want to spend the rest of her life behind bars. This was written to her mother. In the note to her sister, Bobbie, Palfrey said that she should be strong. Palfrey wrote in the note that suicide was her only “exit strategy.”

Palfrey’s death has brought forth much talk. So far, her mother and sister have confirmed from the handwriting that she did indeed write the note.

But, there are still suspicions in the air. This is due to the list of potential clients that used Palfrey’s escort service. So far, no big names had stepped forward during Palfrey’s trial back in April.
