article imageNew Crash Bandicoot Parodies the iPhone

By Aaron Robson     Apr 30, 2008 in Entertainment
Vivendi has formally revealed its new Crash Bandicoot adventure, Mind over Mutant, which will be out on Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP and DS at the end of the year.
In a more than obvious parody of the past year's iPhone "craze," the story has a brought back the old Bandicoot chemistry and math of Neo Cortex attempting to take over the world with. The only difference this time is Cotex's use of a "text-messaging, do-anything device which controls both mutant and bandicoot minds."
The new game apparently has a more free-roaming sandbox approach than before, and features an interesting monster capture system which lets you use the abilities of enemies and train them up in your pocket.
Remind you of anything? "cough" pokemon "cough."
