article imageWorld Travel Laws: Don't Forget Your Sunscreen, Language Guide, And Legal Etiquette

By Nikki Weingartner     Apr 29, 2008 in Travel
Laws of the strange and unusual are not something travelers are privy to during their vacations abroad. Even the jaws of some local nationals can be found open wide over some of the laws on their books of justice.
As a followup to 'sex in America', European and Canadian laws of the strange or weird might have seemed the appropriate sequel but whether or not those maple leaf wearing individuals keep their secrets locked up or are truly prude is, well, a secret of its own.
Although the United States maybe as prude of a "liberal" country as they come, the bizarre laws on sex were much easier to come by.
Across the globe, laws protecting individuals from certain harms are fairly consistent with a few exceptions for the more extreme countries. Order and safety of the masses being the goal.
But in some places, the line of fun and crime is as foggy driving the M2 at 100 kilometers per hour at 3am!

Under the UK’s Tax Avoidance Schemes Regulations 2006, it is illegal not to tell the taxman anything you don’t want him to know, though you don’t have to tell him anything you don’t mind him knowing.
