A Burlington County, N.J. police officer has been charged with animal cruelty. Robert Melia Jr., 38 was allegedly having sexual relations with cows from June through December of 2006. From 2003 to 2006 he had been sexually assaulting 3 young girls.
Apparently this guy just can't keep his thing in his pants. Following an arrest on April 12th for sexually assaulting 3 juvenile girls in his home from 2003 to 2006, it has been discovered that while messing with the little girls in the neighborhood, he also had set his sight on cows. It has now been reported that he has also been charged with animal cruelty for engaging in sex acts with cattle from June through December of 2006.
The assaults occurred in Melia's home on multiple occasions in 2003, 2004 and 2007. Further details were not released in order to protect the anonymity of the victims. According to the news report Officer Melia was living with his girlfriend, Heather Lewis, when the assaults on the juveniles took place, and Heather was a willing participant in said assaults. A search of Melia's home turned up various pornographic materials, but no details were released.
(Perhaps he had a video of himself doing it with a cow?)
Melia is being held on $510,000 bail. His 32 year old girlfriend, Heather Lewis, is being held on $300,000 bail.
No mention as to whether Heather shared Melia's penchant for cowhide.
