Daniel Radcliffe told The Daily Telegraph that he was smitten by an unknown Aussie girl whom he met backstage for a fleeting moment. Two girls have answered the call of his heart since then.
It seems that the tables have been turned on the wizard from Hogwart. An Australian girl has cast her spell on Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the eponymous Harry Potter films.
"There was one girl there, oh my god, she had eyes that just looked at me like she wanted to pounce on me," he had first told
The Daily Telegraph in Australia. "She stared at me the whole night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn't find her. I must have walked around that party for an hour trying to look for this girl, like some sad pathetic dweeb but it would have been so worth it. I don't know, I don't know her name, I can't remember her name. It was one of those things but she was stunning."
The $50-million star is still single and he admits he is still trying to find the the girl of his dreams. Though he would love a little help to find the girl, Radcliffe admits that he can't remember much about her, including her name. And that little help has come about, it appears. Since the story was published by the paper, two girls have come forward, identifying themselves as the 'mystery girl'.
Cassi McKay, a blond 20-year-old from Sydney, and
Savannah Blount, a brown-haired saxophonist from Melbourne are the possible contenders for the affections of Daniel. Their is a slight twist in the tale, as both the girls are attached with respective boyfriends. Savannah Blount has poured some cold water on Daniel's dreams by saying that the teenage star was not "really her type." She digs taller guys. But Cassi McKay, was open to the idea of a meet up with Daniel when she goes to the UK next week for a holiday.
It seems Daniel Radcliffe will have to make a bit of a journey from the land of fantasy to the very real world which he now inhabits.
