Deborah Jeane Palfrey, aka the D.C. Madam, was found guilty on all charges in her association with running the elite prostitiution ring.
According to Fox News, Palfrey "sighed" as the verdict was read.
After two days and seven hours of deliberation
She was convicted on all counts she faced: Money laundering, using the mail for illegal purposes and racketeering.
Testimony from Palfrey's former escorts and clients alluding to her prostitution business, fronting as an escort service did not help the 52-year-old's case. Some described their coded conversations or timed visits, with reasonable expectations from both sides.
Palfrey remains free until the sentencing phase scheduled in late July of this year and plans on appealing the gulty verdict.
Two high-profile cases associated with the D.C. Madam are
Senator David Vitter and
Deputy Secretary of State Randall Tobias.
