article imageRock Band will be limited on Wii due to lack of hard drive

By Aaron Robson     Apr 9, 2008 in Entertainment
The upcoming Rock Band for the Nintendo Wii will be restricted on downloadable content due to the fact that the console does not have a hard drive.
Rob Kay, design director at Harmonix and for Rock Band, blames the Wii for it's lack of storage space. This will greatly effect updates for the game once released putting a halt on any thoughts of after market download able content. Meaning owners of the game will be stuck with the same songs once released with no hopes of any new ones.
"Come on Nintendo, we need a hard drive,"
Kay says.
Nintendo has repeatedly made a point of declaring that the Nintendo Wii is in no need of a hard drive. The latest defense was made in November.
