What do you do when you wake up in the morning and find yourself short on cash? As a teen, we used to walk into a restaurant and check the tables for tips.
Then we would find a table or a booth somewhere in corner of the establishment and order breakfast. I don’t recall leaving a tip.
In
Athens, GA, 28-year-old Demetruis Robinson had another idea. Robbing a convenience store was one of them. Applying for a job was another. In Robinson’s case, both required the use of a knife especially in lue of brains.
Once inside the Golden Pantry Convenience store and taking notice that the shopkeeper wasn’t alone and not wanting to draw the attention of customers, this fellow decided to hang around until everyone left. However, my guess is that he didn’t want to appear too conspicuous therefore he checked the isles pretending to look for something useful. Perhaps when the shopkeeper noticed him and asked if he needed some help this fellow must have said that he was looking for work or maybe he came across an application form somewhere. Whatever the scenario was Mr. Robinson decided that while he was waiting for the customers to leave the store that it just might be a good idea to fill out the form – complete with name and phone number.
Needless to say, the police had no problem identifying the suspect. Robinson is now in police custody at the Clarke County Jail. One question. Which position was he applying for?
