Muxtape, a beautifully simple music sharing service
by Chris V. Thangham.
Muxtape is an impressive online music tool to store your favorite songs and play anytime, anywhere. Or share music with friends and family., as if it's a simple jukebox you can customize.
37signals.com calls
Muxtape as “
dead simple, absolutely clear, quenches a common thirst of sharing songs with friends, can’t mess-up easy” service.
Muxtape is a free service, and once you register with username, email, and password, you are ready to start uploading and sharing music.
The entry page has an upload button, and you can download up to 12 songs for nowIt seems to be customized for iPhone, but it's mainly for computer users.
Here is a sample Muxtape from Justin, one of the founders for reference. And if you need more, here is

To play the song, double click any of the songs and to navigate between songs, use arrows (left or right) on the keyboard. To pause a song hit the “enter” key, and to play again hit the “enter” key again. Once it starts playing, it loops continuously.
I checked their
blog, they said they will be adding more features: M4A support, RSS feeds, more customization, and many other goodies.
