Nude portrait photo of Sarkozy's wife available at Christie's auction

A nude photo portrait of French President Nicolas Sarkozy's wife Carla Bruni will be available for auction at Christie’s. The photo was taken in 1993 and sold by art collector Gert Elfering.

The nude photograph of Sarkozy’s wife Carla Bruni, a 13x 10-inch black-and-white picture, was taken in 1993 when she was one of the world’s top fashion models in the industry. Christie’s expects the photograph to be sold for $3,000 to $4,000 in one of their auctions in New York on April 10. Sarkozy married Bruni, 40, in February after a whirlwind romance that began shortly after his divorce from his second wife Cecilia, who also got married recently. The art collector probably wants to make money now before the Bruni name dies out. Will this photograph be added in the famed museum in France, the Louvre Museum (Musée de Louvre)?
