A 13-year-old girl has been arrested for luring young girls into dancing at a local strip club and selling their bodies in exchange for money. Police are not surprised, saying the demand is high in Dallas.
A 13-year old was arrested at a nightclub in Dallas, TX where she was allegedly luring other young girls into the club to dance and serve as prostitutes, according to wfaa.com.
Police say the young teen lured other young girls into Club Metropolis in Dallas, promising money in exchange for dancing and prostitution. Some of the girls were forced to participate according to Investigators. "It's a really horrendous affair," said Dallas police Lt. Chess Williams.
Police estimate the teenage prostitution dilemma reaches well into the hundreds, as the demand is high in Dallas. Mention is also made of the recent finding of a 12-year old dancing naked at a local nightclub.
Williams said, "One of the remarkable things we learned through all of this is there's a tremendous amount of money in all this, so a huge demand for young girls in prostitution world."
Investigators say those who are pimping out adults are the ones also responsible for exploiting the young girls.
