The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Cadbury Adams Canada Inc. are warning people with allergies to hazelnut protein not to consume regular milk chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs (39 g)
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Cadbury Adams Canada Inc. have issued a warning - people with allergies to hazelnut protein should not consume regular milk chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs (39 g) described below.

The CFIA press release advises that the affected product may contain hazelnut that is not declared on the label.

The affected product, regular milk chocolate Cadbury Mini Eggs, is sold in a 39 g package bearing UPC 0 61200 08021 6 and lot codes 02457T and 02357T.

There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction to those individuals with allergies to hazelnut protein.

The manufacturer, Cadbury Adams Canada Inc., Toronto, Ontario, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
