The science fiction TV program "Lost" is now in it's fourth season.
A program that always leaves you wondering just what is going on.
What is the meaning of an incident and most certainly what will happen the next week.
Many "Lost" addicts have wondered what has happened to Michael.

Michael has not been seen since the end of the second season when he sailed away with his son Walt. He was never seen during the third season.

Michael is played by a 44-year-old actor from New York, Harold Perrineau. He was not happy that he was the only one of the 14 original cast members of "Lost" who never appeared during the third season. Perrineau said that he was not happy about the decision that was made to leave Michael and Walt off the island and to put the focus on the others in the cast.

During this the fourth season Perrineau has been listed as a cast member but where has he been?

During last Thursday's episode seen on ABC he was seen on a freighter. He was seen as a deck-swabbing crewman named Kevin Johnson on a mysterious freighter that has been drifting off the coast of the island.

Has Michael been on this freighter and what is he doing there?
"I wish I could tell you," actor Harold Perrineau says.

According to freep.com, this Thursday will tell where Michael has been for the past season and a half. This will be about a month and a half of the time on the island which had been filmed last year before the writers strike shut down production.

This episode about Michael, or is he Kevin now, will have flashbacks showing what happened after Michael gunned down Ana-Lucia and Libby so that he could rescue his son Walt and release Ben who seems to be evil.

Perrineau said
"I hope people see Michael's return and think, 'Oh, this is gonna be good, I hope they think this ride is good. We busted our butts doing this one. It felt like we were making a movie because there's so much stuff that happens in this episode."

Some questions needing answers, Was Michael able to get back home to New York? Will Walt, his son, return to the show? Could he have been the man in the coffin in the shocking flash-forward at the end of Season three? According to Perrineau here are the answers
" yes, maybe and he has no idea."

According to Perrineau the writers have kept him in the dark just like the audience. He has not read any scripts for the next five episodes. It looks like the viewers should see a lot of Michael during the rest of the season. He was scheduled to report to the set in Hawaii, where the show is filmed, last week. He does know that he will be there until the end of the season but he doesn't know if he will be there next season.
