As most people are aware, Leap Year only arrives once every four years, adding an extra day to the shortest month. Being born on February 29 might be cool, as long as it doesn’t mean only being recognized every fourth year…
Most people born on February 29 simply choose another date on which to celebrate their birthdays, as reported by
KXMB.com.
It makes sense, because otherwise planning birthday parties could be a little tricky. Well, there would be plenty of time to plan between parties, but the birthday girl or boy might feel a bit shortchanged.
There are also some people who actually enjoy counting by Leap Years, especially those who have spent quite a bit of time on the planet. Later in life, counting by fours might seem like a great way to stay young.
Imagine, being eighty years old and saying, 'I’m celebrating my twentieth birthday today.'
Here’s wishing those with Leap Year birthdays a happy day. Enjoy celebrating on your actual birth-date.
