Ralph Nader is back on the campaign trail. Nader has run in the last five campaigns as an independent and is back on the trail to attempt to get in the Oval Office. In 2004 he only got a tiny share of the vote. Could this attempt be different?
The 73 year old Nader announced his plans on NBC's "Meet The Press" on Sunday. He stated that neither the Democrats nor the Republicans are addressing the problems that are facing the American public.
Nader called Washington "corporate occupied territory" that turns the government against the interest of its own people.
"In that context I have decided to run for president," Nader said.
Those in the know are not surprised by Nader's announcement. Obama doesn't seem to be overly impressed with the consumer advocate.
"He seems to have a pretty high opinion of his own work."
