In preparation for the contests on March 4, United States Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton has launched a new wave of attacks on fellow Democratic hopeful Barack Obama. She said that Obama is not ready.
In her new offensive against Barack Obama prelude to the March 4th contests, Hillary Clinton said that he is not prepared to become President of the United States. At this time, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is struggling to stay afloat as she has lost ten straight contests at the hands of Barack Obama. Texas and Ohio are considered to be must win states for Hillary Clinton.
Recently, her husband former US President Bill Clinton who stumped for her in Texas even acknowledged that Texas and Ohio will either sustain or kill her candidacy.
It is time to get real – to get real about how we actually win this election, and get read about the challenges facing America,” Hillary Clinton said giving a speech at Hunter College located in the Manhattan borough of New York City.
After ten contests, Obama has a marginal lead over Clinton. Before the Super Tuesday contests on February 5, Obama had trailed behind Clinton. After Super Tuesday, Obama was virtually tied with Clinton. After the previous ten contests, Obama has gained a marginal lead over Clinton.
Clinton would say that Obama won in those states because he was expected to win.
But, Obama would brush off Clinton’s criticism. In Dallas, Texas, where Obama addressed a large ground, he said: “Today, Senator Clinton told us there is a choice in this race, and I couldn’t agree with her more. But contrary to what she was saying, it’s not a choice between speeches and solutions. It’s a choice between the politics of divisions and distractions that did not work in South Carolina, that did not work in Wisconsin and that will not work in Texas.”
It is expected that there will be more attacks on Obama due his marginal lead over Clinton. Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side with John McCain and Mike Huckabee on the Republican side have stepped up their attacks on Barack Obama.
Recently, the Republican National Committee at a donor event have outlined a plan to constantly attack Obama on his “inexperience.”
