Hit songs are usually very popular, catchy and have a timelessness to them. But what if there was a hit song that you've never truly heard? In New Zealand, there happens to be one that only your dog could appreciate.
New Zealand isn't exactly known as the home of hit records, but it may be the first country to have a hit song no one has ever heard. No one but dogs.

"A Very Silent Night" was a song that was recorded at a frequency only dogs can hear. It was a hit during Christmas, but now it looks to break globally.

Numerous pet owners loved the song but got mixed responses from their dogs, ranging to violently attacking the radio to doing exactly nothing.

The song, which can be ordered here and has a free preview video, was a fundraiser by the New Zealand SPCA.

If I had a dog, I would definitely give it a shot.
