I've been hearing alot in the media recently regarding super delegates. Not having a strong history of being politically active, and having never served time in office, but merely volunteering during one presidential campaign, I wondered just who they are
Chelsea Clinton has been personally phoning them, encouraging them to vote for mom. Media stories mention them time and again, but do you really understand just who these people are, and how they can impact the outcome of a Presidential election?

Are we, the people, really in charge of who is nominated and eventually elected to the highest office in our country, or have the "powers that be" decided they know best and will decide just who sits in that oval office come 2009?

What do you think? Do we really have any say anymore, or have our voices been systematically stripped from us, handing over all of the power to those already in power?
