A UK man that is accused of murdering five prostitutes tells the court that it was a coincidence that the women were killed shortly after having sex with him and denies that he had anything to do with their deaths.
Steve Wright is being accused of killing five prostitutes but tells jurors that he had nothing to do with their deaths.

According to a source the court heard that in the three months before Wright's arrest, Wright had sex with more than ten prostitutes from the area including the five he is accused of killing.

Wright admitted to the court that he did have sex with one of the victims the night she went missing and shortly before another two disappeared.

Prosecutors hammered Wright with questions but the 49-year old claimed that it was simply a coincidence that he had picked up the five women he is accused of killing in the order they died.

In the space of just 10 days the five bodies were found naked and dumped at rural locations. The women were ages 19-29 and two of the victims were found with their bodies deliberately posed in a cruciform shape.

The victims died fighting for breath and they appeared to be under the influence of hard drugs according to prosecutors.
