Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama in the state by approximately 1,000 votes and the Obama and Clinton teams agree that a recount is in order to assure a proper vote count and winner.
Yesterday the New Mexico Democratic Party officials made the announcement that they will recount every ballot.
Originally they were only going to to count 17,000 provisional ballots, mostly cast by voters whose eligibility was in question or who came to the wrong polling place.
There is no predicted timeframe for when the recount totals would be finished.
New Mexico Democratic politicians do not win all the delegates of the state, they divide them up and apportion them, so the 26 delegates at stake would be split between both candidates.
