A passerby made a gruesome discovery in a North London back street today of a headless body, wrapped in a duvet cover. The body was found in a blood-soaked duvet inside a supermarket cage
Exactly how and why the body was dumped here is yet to be determined. The partially naked body was found around the back of a row of local shops in the Kingsgate area in North London.
A passerby had found the slumped body wrapped inside a blood stained duvet inside a giant metal cage, the sort of thing which is used by department stores for bringing in new stock. A closer examination revealed the gruesome discovery of a body with no head.
The body has been confirmed to be an adult male but the head still remains missing.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the body is yet to be identified. The scene where the body was found has cordoned off for further investigations.
A postmortem due to be carried out tomorrow morning should determine how the man died and how long he may have been in the cage.
There have been no arrests so far.
A picture of investigators studying in the cage with the body still inside it can been found here.
