Further details have been fuzzy as of late, but according to an e-mail received by some tipsters, Microsoft has been offering a free copy of Vista in exchange for their privacy.
According to Engadget, even though its been claimed last year, this is still a rumor.
According to a note, Microsoft has been viewing folks as "registered members" of the Windows Feedback Program. As rumored, if the viewed keep their guard down for the remainder of a three month period they would receive the latest copy of Windows Vista, their latest OS gratis. Others haven't been finding out in an unexpected message from Microsoft regarding this offer.
Is this offer even real? Has anyone even been able to get a free copy? More information coming soon.
