French President Nicolas Sarkozy in India currently visited Taj Mahal, the famous monument for love Saturday with his group of advisers but without his girl friend Carla Bruni, who remained in France.
Sarkozy is in India and has signed business and political agreements with the Indian government. Today, he visited Taj Mahal with a group of top advisers but without his main love, Carla Bruni.
Since weekends are busy in Taj Mahal, a small army of Indian security officers cleared the Taj Mahal area to allow Sarkozy to visit Taj Mahal in private. Initially Carla Bruni was supposed to go with him there, but she didn’t, she decided to stay in France instead.
The French public criticized Sarkozy for being open about his relationship with Carla Bruni and going to countries on government trips without getting married. So Sarkozy decided to go alone to India.
There were rumors later on that Carla Bruni would join Sarkozy in Taj Mahal and probably marry him there. Neither of those things happened today, he was just seen with his top advisers at the Taj Mahal today.
Sarkozy seemed to have enjoyed his trip to Taj Mahal and wrote about his trip, “unforgettable” in the guest book.
Maybe after getting married he can go back to Taj Mahal again with Bruni. Sarkozy may have his critics at home, but he is doing well with political relationships with other countries and seems to have gained a lot of business for his country.
