Actor Heath Ledger Dead In Manhattan Apartment

Just recently, actor Heath Ledger known for his roles in Brothers Grimm and Brokeback Mountain was found dead. His most recent notable role was that of the Joker in the Dark Knight, sequel to Batman Begins.

Academy award actor Heath Ledger was found Tuesday, January 22 at his downtown Manhattan residence. Police say that it was possibly a drug-related death and not a murder. According to Paul Browne, the spokesman for the NYPD, Heath Ledger had an appointment to have a massage at the apartment that was believed to be his residence. However, the housekeeper went to inform Ledger that the masseuse discovered his dead body at almost 3:30 PM. Heath Ledger is one of several famous actors from Australia. He has a long list of screen credits and got an Oscar nomination for “Brokeback Mountain.” Ledger died at 28 years of age.
