Ten-year old Diego Palacios of Mexico had glued his hand to his bed because he did not want to go back to school after the Christmas break. He had thought having his hand glued to the bed was better than school.
10 year old Diego Palacios who lives outside of Monterrey thought that gluing his hand to his bed was much better than having to return to school. “The holidays were so much fun,” he said to Reforma newspaper.
Sandra, Diego’s mother had found him watching the television while his hand was stuck to the bed stead.

I don’t know why he did it,” Sandra said. She added: “
He is a good boy.”
Both the police and paramedics managed to free him. Diego was unharmed in the incident and was only a few hours late for school. He had woken up early to get the industrial-strength glue from the kitchen.
Before calling for expert help, Sandra spent two hours trying to free Diego’s hand with nail-polish remover. Afterwards, she had called the paramedics. While the paramedics used a spray to dissolve the glue, Diego was watching cartoons.
