Man Dies After Being Hit With Taser

Friday afternoon, a Las Vegas Trooper was on the tail of a man who had been involved in several hit-and-run collisions on Interstate 15 at the 215 interchange. When the trooper was finally able to get to the man, he subdued the man with a taser.
Las Vegas - Las Vegas police are now probing the death of an unnamed man who was subdued after a Nevada Highway Patrol officer used a taser on him.
Friday afternoon, a trooper gave chase to stop the man after he'd been involved in several hit-and-run collisions. When the trooper attempted to stop the man, the vehicle
"entered the center median emergency lane and crashed into an emergency wall."
At that time, the trooper was able to pull the man from the vehicle. The man began to struggle with the trooper at which point, the trooper tased him and with the help of a
"passer-by" was then able to subdue the man.
Soon after, the man went into what was believed as medical distress. By the time the man reached the hospital, he was pronounced dead, the
police said. The cause of death will be determined at autopsy.
At this time, the trooper has been put on paid administrative leave until the case is fully investigated.
No one else was injured nor were any weapons involved.
Okay, someone tell me that a taser is
not a weapon.
