article image2 Arrests Made In Malaysian Sex Tape Scandal

As a result of the sex tape scandal that had created waves and the announcement of resignation by Chua Soi Lek, Malaysia’s health minister, police have made several arrests on those suspected of distributing the video.
Police in Malaysia have arrested both an owner of a beauty parlor and a farmer whom are suspected of distributing the sex video showing Chua Soi Lek of adultery according to the Saturday news reports.
They have seized a laptop, one DVD, and three VCDs which shows former Health Minister Choa Soi Lek engaging in sexual acts after they detained a twenty-nine year old woman at her beauty parlor at Johor state according to the New Straits Times.
Right now, authorities are still investigating who made the video and how hidden cameras managed to be installed in Chua’s luxury suite.
In connection with the video, a fifty year old farmer was also arrested. The video lasted for one hour and was circulated the previous week by an anonymous source. Chua is currently married with three children.
In the case of Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, it is one of many headaches in his administration and political career. Currently, it is an election year in Malaysia.
