Is your PC or laptop taking too long to start? The reason for slow boot-up time is due to many programs and window services that are configured to run during start-up. There is a solution to boot up the computer quickly.
When we turn on the PC or the laptop, many programs installed in the computer are set to start as soon as the computer is started. This causes the computer to boot up very slowly and also occupies too much RAM memory. To avoid this delay, use Autoruns 9.0 utility from Microsoft.
You can also do this manually by going to the start-up folder and clearing all the programs and registry entries. But the Autoruns 9.0 is a better utility to clean them all in one place.
This is how it looks when you start this Autoruns program.
Autoruns shows the programs and registries that are configured to run when you switch on the computer. Just "unmark" the programs you don’t want to run at startup.
You can download the free program AutoRuns for Windows here.
I tried this program, and it works like a charm. Some of its components is too advanced, like the registries, so I left them alone. It was easy to remove some of the programs which were taking too much time to load and which also occupied unnecessary RAM space.
