Nobel Prize-winning scientist and author Dr. James D. Watson, who earlier this year said that blacks are less intelligent than whites, has been found by a DNA lab to have black genes and probably Oriental genes.
The deCODE analysis showed that 16 of Watson's genes likely came from a black African ancestor.

According to The Australian News, the genetic tests were performed at deCODE Genetics of Iceland after Watson agreed to have his genome - a map of his genes - published on the Internet for scientific research purposes.

An analysis of Dr Watson's genome shows 16 of his genes are likely to have come from a black ancestor of African descent. Most people of European descent would have no more than one such gene. Kari Stefansson of deCODE said:
This level is what you would expect in someone who had a great-grandparent who was African.
An additional nine of Watson's genes most likely came from an Asian ancestor.

Watson, who wasn't available for comment, was forced to resign earlier this year as chancellor of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York after 39 years, after he said he was
inherently gloomy about the prospects for Africa...All our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours - whereas all the testing says not really.

Watson, Francis Crik and Maurice Wilkins won the 1962 Nobel Prize after discovering the double-helix structure of DNA in 1953.

Our original ancestors came from Africa, whether we like it or not. Here is a video that shows how people migrated from Africa. The original settlers of Europe migrated from what is now India and other Asian regions. Wonder what Watson's response will be to this DNA theory?

Personally, I don't understand how he could think he does _not_ have black ancestors, considering the historical migration you speak of. But I do find his present predicament delightful, considering his ill-thought-out statements earlier this year.
