A 16-year-old Iceland student was able to breach President Bush's security and call his secret and private telephone number at the White House. He claimed himself as the President of Iceland.
Vifill Atlason from Iceland must be in a bit of trouble either from Iceland's government, or from Bush’s staff. He somehow found Bush’s secret White House telephone number and called Bush directly. He hasn't said how he got that number.

Atlason didn’t speak to Bush directly, but left a message for him more than a week ago. In the message, he claimed he was the president of Iceland and said he just wanted to chat with Bush. He also invited Bush to Iceland for a private meeting.

Atlason was expecting a call back from Washington last Monday, but instead, the Iceland police knocked on his door and asked him how he got Bush’s phone number. Altason told the police that he received the phone number several years ago and didn't remember where exactly he got this number.

On Wednesday, Jenna Bush called her dad live on Ellen’s show. Some people have speculated Atlason might have learned the phone number from the show, but Atlason called a week earlier based on a newspaper article.

Can Atlason expect waterboarding for this incident? As long he doesn’t reveal the number to everyone, he will be OK.
