Maurizio Matteucci defends the calender that has outraged the Catholic country.
Matteucci told Annanova,
"It is good marketing, but it is also a way to play down such a serious subject and to smile.
Matteucci also said,
"Coffins are consumer goods like any other things, so I sell in the same way as any other consumer goods are sold. The calendar is very popular."
The calender features sexy models posing with coffins and can be purchased online at the
company's website. The idea was dreamed up by
Maurizio Matteucci. He's the son of the parlour owner.
For a mere 9.30 euros you can own your own copy of the beauty babes leaning up against an expensive coffin.
