Chuck Norris Endorses Mike Huckabee for President

Chuck Norris doesn't vote for President of the United States of America, he round house kicks the voting machine and Mike Huckabee wins! With Mike Huckabee moving from dark horse to front running endorsements from celebrities may help him win the GOP.

Hollywood figure heads have started coming out of the wood work to endorse their presidential candidates. Most have deemed democrats their candidate of choice, but not Chuck Norris. The famous martial artist is throwing his clout out to support Mike Huckabee. Chuck and Mike have teamed up on their websites to promote the platform and the previous Arkansas governors' bid for the republican nomination. On Chuck Norris' website he released his reason for supporting Mike Huckabee:

"Mike is a man whose sense of integrity and commitment are supported by a lifetime of accomplishments, strong family values, and clear vision of what America should be and can be."

Of course Chuck Norris has his own plans if he were to run for president in a blog on WorldNetDaily. While his tirade is mostly comedic, a real sense of what he is about can be gleaned by reading the article. He makes suggestions like:

"Cut spending by dismissing the Secret Service, at least for my eight years in office (why would I need them?).

Resurrect Bruce Lee and appoint him head of homeland security (OK, the CIA and FBI too).

Increase jobs in America by sending ninja teams to sabotage and steal them back from other countries.

Give a tax credit to anyone naming their children Walker or Texas Ranger (excluding Will Farrell).

Resolve the Iraq war by bringing all of our military personnel home immediately, then going over there by myself for "martial arts negotiations."

Expose the real WMDs – my fists and feet.

The Walker Texas Ranger star has also made an appearance in a campaign video for the Huckabee Rangers who are a group of people dedicated the raising money for the Huckabee campaign. Chuck Norris is not the only person with a well known name backing Mike Huckabee, it was recently announced the Jerry Falwell Jr. is also lending his support. It can be argued that the positive backing from Norris could be counteracted by the negative impression Falwell Jr.'s late father had in America. However with his numbers in the polls steadily rising it is anyone's guess what the outcome of this dark horse's run will be.
