In a strange twist, a little girl named Riley Ann Sawyers whereabouts have been unknown since July, when her mother claims she gave the child to a person claiming to be from Ohio who had papers demanding custody of the child.
Riley Ann Sawyers and her mother Kim moved to Spring, Texas last summer after her mother met a man on the Internet. That was the last time she has been seen by her father, Robert Sawyers or her grandmother Sheryl Sawyers with no contact from the mother since they moved, in a statement made to
myfoxcleveland.
The father and grandmother have been going through the legal process in both Ohio and Texas to try and get visitation rights to see the little girl.
The grandmother, Sheryl happened to run across the Baby Grace story and was struck by the resemblance to her own granddaughter, Riley, who she has not had any contact with since May when she and her mother, Kim, moved and contacted the police.

Police have contacted Kim in Spring, Texas and she told them she hasn't had custody of Riley since July. She claims a person with custody papers from Ohio state came and demanded she give Riley over and that was the last time she saw Riley herself. She did not check to see if the person was in fact who they said they were before giving her daughter over.
Ohio State refutes anyone was ever sent for the child and has no knowledge of her whereabouts.
DNA has been taken from Robert and sent to Texas to see if it is a match to the child known as Baby Grace. The mother, Kim was also asked to give a DNA sample for comparison.
