Crafty do-it-yourselfers can't wait to make your own jewelry? Well slow down a bit and check these toxic little beauties. Charms, bracelets, earrings and closures all sold through the ever popular Michael's craft stores from April 2006 to September 2007.
OK on this one I'll just post the photos with SKU numbers so you can browse this recalled selection at your leisure.

High levels of lead are the reason for this recall. They were sold under the cover all name Crystal Innovations jewelry, distributed by Pure Allure, of Oceanside, CA. and manufactured in China.

Call Pure Allure at (800)536-6321 or just take them back to the store for a refund.

So just remember silver and gold good, lead bad and don't forget to check those made in stamps they may give you a bit of a clue of just whether to by these items.

Even better is pearls, diamonds, opals, rubies you get my drift... one can dream.
