Rumors were circulating that singer Jon Bon Jovi was thinking of running for governor of New Jersey. Jon Bon Jovi has denied these rumors at this time because he is very busy with his music career.
Jon Bon Jovi now lives in SoHo, New York with his wife and 4 children but still retains a home in Red Bank, New Jersey which sparked rumors that he is planning to run for office.

According to Ken Sunshine, his public relations person, he has been asked if he would be interested in running for office a few times but will not be giving up his music career for governor.

As the New Zealand Herald reports:
"Jon has been approached many times about running for office."His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house in Red Bank."
The rumors started when he hired Ken Sunshine as his public relations person. Ken was chief of staff to former New York mayor David Dinkins.

Jon bon Jovi insists that he will not give up his music career to run for governor. He does do fundraisers for Democrat's John Kerry and Al Gore.

I am glad he is not giving up his music to run. I am a huge Bon Jovi fan and I believe he can help the world better through his music and his sell out concerts and fundraising.
