Kid Punches Mother and Police Over Halo 3

A young child became so addicted to playing Halo 3 on his XBox 360 that when the ability to play it was taken from him as a punishment, he flew into a rage and punched his mom in the face.

A youth from Florida's Indian River County was playing Halo 3 when his mother told him to turn off the game, as it was getting late. He refused and so she removed the "air card" (wi-fi attachment) from the console which removed the ability to play online. According to TCPalm, the boy flew into a rage and scoured the whole house searching for the air card. When he couldn't find it, he punched his mother in the face. She called the police and when they arrived, the boy had locked himself in the room. When told to come out and speak to the police, he issued profanity. The mother let the police use her key to open the door to the boy's bedroom, and when they did, the boy punched Sheriff's Deputy Sean Harnage in the lip and was then handcuffed. He was turned over to juvenile authorities under charges of domestic violence and battery of a police officer.
