Microsoft reports that they have now added a family-friendly bundle to the already popular Xbox 360 line of products. Aside from a lower price tag the new system also comes with five family games and a wireless controller.
CNN reports that technology giant Microsoft, has just released a "family-friendly" version of the popular Xbox 360 gaming console.
Microsoft reported Tuesday that they have released a lower-priced version of the popular gaming system that comes with five family-oriented games.
The now dubbed Xbox 360 Arcade Console, comes out of the box with five games and a wireless controller.
The price tag for this new bundle is $280, but be warned that the lower price means no hard-drive. Unlike other Xbox 360 consoles that often sport an impressive hard-drive and significant storage space, this unit offers 256 megabytes of storage and no hard-drive.
Microsoft said the games include "PAC-MAN Championship Edition," Luxor 2" and "Uno."
Microsoft also announced Tuesday that they will be increasing their family-related content by offering Warner Bros. "Looney Toons" cartoons for download on the system. They have also made the popular Nickelodion shows "Blue's Clues," "The Backyardigans" and "iCarly" available through Xbox Live as well.
"SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam" and "SHREK-N-ROLL" will also be available for download through Xbox Live Arcade, Microsoft said.
