Police in Germany have arrested a Sudanese man on suspicion of spying on dissidents, prosecutors said Tuesday.
The 39-year-old, whose name was not disclosed, was detained on Saturday in Berlin after the federal court in Karlsruhe issued an arrest warrant.
The suspect is accused of acting as a spy for the Sudanese intelligence service. His role was to report on the activities of Sudanese dissidents in Germany, prosecutors said. dpa ms aw
