Norwegian premier to visit Serbia and Slovenia

Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg was due to visit Serbia and Slovenia in the coming days, his office said Thursday.

Stoltenberg is to begin his official visit in Serbia Sunday and scheduled to have meetings with among others President Boris Tadic and Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovic.

On Monday, Stoltenberg is to meet Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and attend a meeting at the Scandinavian Institute in Belgrade.

Late Monday the Norwegian premier was slated to travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

His official schedule in Slovenia on Tuesday included talks with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa and meetings with the speaker of parliament and President Janez Drnovsek. dpa lsm gma
