Fear of stock market bubble causes China's share prices to fall

by dpa news.
Fear of a possible stock market bubble caused share prices to fall on China's stock market Thursday.

The Shanghai Composite Index, the benchmark stock exchange on the Chinese mainland, closed at 5,825.28 points, down 3.5 per cent from its recent record high of some 6,000 points.

Analysts warn of a possible share bubble on China markets which have doubled in value over the last year.
