Looking for World Series tickets? A couple in Englewood Colorado are offering a pair of tickets for $620,000 and they'll throw in a free house. Will this be the house that the World Series sold?
I don't know much about the layout of Coors Field, but I'm pretty sure that Club Level tickets behind home plate are considered prime. According to
9News.com the couple is selling the home, designed by their son, because of financial problems.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and an
"expansive and open floor plan." The couple (Joan and Bud Anderson) took out loans on their own home to finance the project for their son, putting $780,000 into the house. So in addition to the $160,000 loss they'd take on the house, these season ticket holders are giving up their World Series tickets to help unload the property quickly.
That's an interesting incentive. Imagine being a house hunting newlywed sports fan and coming across your wife's dream house complete with World Series tickets. That just might seal the deal. It's nice that the couple gave so much from their own pocket to finance their son's project, but I can't help but wonder where he is in all of this and what sacrifice he's made.
