Julia Roberts Honoured By Film Industry

The winner of the 22nd Annual American Cinematheque Award is Julia Roberts. The actress was presented with the award Friday night as many of Hollywood's stars looked on. Her fellow actors offered up praise for the 40 year old star during the dinner.
"Everybody loves Julia Roberts. Everybody, everybody, everybody," said actor Tom Hanks, who stars with Roberts in the upcoming "Charlie Wilson's War."
The actress who hails from Smyrna, Georgia was honoured for her contributions to the film industry at a benefit dinner.
"I really am just a girl from a little town in Georgia, who had this giant, absurd dream," said Roberts.
The American Cinematheque Award honours "an extraordinary artist in the entertainment industry who is fully engaged in his or her work and is committed to making a significant contribution to the art of the motion pictures".
