By KJ Mullins     Oct 4, 2007 in World
Three south end Ottawa schools dealt with lock downs early Thursday while police investigated reports of suspicious people in the areas. The reports came to the police about the persons investigated via cell phone calls.
All roads around the three schools; St. Patrick's Catholic High School, Ridgemont High School and Charles H. Hulse Public Elementary School were closed as a result of the police investigation.
The police called the Ottawa-Carteton District School Board close to 12:30 saying that there were reports of two persons in the area that were suspicious. The school board reports that students were kept inside their classrooms with teachers until the all clear came out.
The lock down lasted for about 90 minutes.
