Two Saudis to receive 7,000 lashes for committing "homosexual acts"

How awful it must be to be a part of a race that feels and thinks they have a right in expressing such horrific acts on another. was it juesus that said to the towns people, let those without sin cast the fist stone. the Saudis must be without sin and believe they are the most perfect. maybe we are at war with the wrong people. well, maybe. according to my nephew who just recently got to that area, our own troops shot and killed a female for being gay.

i agree. It is almost as though they think they are Republicans or something.. And we have been at war with the wrong people for the last half century which is why we haven't won a war since 1945.

I OFTEN WONDER if the reason to that is because in reality, when one quote unquote race feels that are superior in many ways, the true war fines a home within that race's heart after a while. Unable to fight it, they strike out as in the same manner a frighten children or teenager does and would, the lack in what they feel is a respect honored and owing unto them some how. Go within and find that true peace that one is just fine and ok, and alright in al-ways, would be the true peace maker. of course keeping a smile helps, and if don't have, shares at them. it spreads like a true burning heart of love and respect with an added bonuce, which is appreciation.

Well, lensman67, I have yet to see a report about a Republican taking a homosexual off the streets and beating him for his sexuality. So, that was a pretty ignorant comment. Nor do I see how the Saudi's giving 7,000 lashes to two of their countrymen has to do with Republicans OR winning wars. Are you tying the fate of the United States to how homosexuals are treated? Are you trying to state that a sexual preference, a choice, is how we are to define our country? Or are you trying, as a seemingly typical liberal, to confuse an issue, and make it about something, that really has nothing to do with the article. Since less then 1% of the United States is actually homosexual, the rest are just testing the waters, Anne Heche, Julie Chyper, what is the true point that you are making? That we as a nation are not storming into other countries to try to make them Politically Correct? For all that the Saudi's need to address in freedoms for all, this act, which follows what they have always have done, is just one act of many that they would need to change. Find the issue, STICK TO THE ISSUE, and maybe, MAYBE, you can be seen as someone who can make a statement that can be honest, and worth listening to.
