The sight of an old man being hit by a truck in Arizona touched off a feeding frenzy among witnesses who allegedly stole the dying victim's groceries. That's just wrong on so many levels.
breitbart reports that not only did they take the man's groceries, but they took groceries from the only person who tried to help him.
Mesa police told KPHO-TV in Phoenix that the scavengers could face theft charges if they are eventually tracked down.
Human scavengers like these are the worst. They see a situation and they act, in vulture like fashion.
The elderly victim had been waiting for a bus Tuesday night when the pickup swerved off the road and plowed into the bus stop. The man went flying as well as his bags of groceries.
The truck sped off with a white plastic bag still flapping on its grill. That was when the vulture behavior started. Witnesses began grabbing whatever scattered food they could get their greedy hands on. Boro Mitrovich, was himself nearly struck, and he ran to help the man and had his bag disappear also.
"One minute it was on the ground, the next minute it was gone," Mitrovich told KPHO.
This kind of vulture is hard to spot. They do not fly and their noses are not always a beak.
Very sad human beings.
